Milepost

The simplest way to run client work.

Say goodbye to five tools taped together. Milepost is the engagement hub for agencies — CRM, projects, contracts, billing, and a client portal, finally on the same page.

Half an hour, on an engagement shaped like yours. No slideware.

Milepost's projects view: milestones, task board, and engagement status for an agency workspace

An engagement hub like no other

Everything hangs off the account

Contacts, pipeline, contracts, projects, invoices, tickets — one thread per client, not seven tabs per question.

Your clients are in it too

Every account gets a portal scoped to exactly their stuff. Status meetings get shorter when the status is always visible.

Nothing falls through

Scope changes need client approval. Rates get captured with the hours. The paperwork keeps up with the work — by design.

Keep scope honest

Scope creep isn't a client problem — it's a paperwork problem. In Milepost, a change order goes to the client, gets approved in their portal, and only then amends the SOW. Invoices are built from the hours that were actually logged, at the rates that were actually agreed.

No month-end spreadsheet archaeology!

A change order in Milepost waiting on client approval, next to the invoice it will amend

Change-order approvals

Scope changes go to the client for approval before the SOW moves an inch.

Snapshot rates

Every time entry keeps the rate that was true when the work happened.

Capacity tracking

Hours land against the capacity they were logged as — retainer math stays honest.

Workflow templates

The engagement you run every month, saved as a starting point.

Contractor scoping

External folks see their project. Not your pipeline, not your rates.

Utilization & billing reports

Monday-meeting numbers without a single spreadsheet export.

Give every client their own front door

Clients sign in with their email — optional two-factor, no new tool to learn. They see their projects, invoices, tickets, and approvals. Nothing else.

Scoping is enforced by the API, not hidden by the interface.

Questions? Answers.

What is Milepost?
An engagement hub for agencies and studios. CRM, projects and milestones, contracts and change orders, time and billing, support, and a client portal — one workspace instead of five tools taped together.
Does it replace our PM tool and CRM?
For client work, yes — that's the point. Accounts, pipeline, delivery, and billing live on the same record, so nothing gets re-typed between tools. It doesn't replace your accounting ledger; invoices track the engagement side and your books stay wherever they are.
How do clients sign in?
Through their own customer portal, with their email and optional two-factor. They see their own account only: projects, invoices, tickets, approvals, and reports. Access is enforced by the API, not hidden by the UI.
Can contractors work in it?
Yes. Contractor access is scoped to the projects they're on — they log time and move tasks without seeing your pipeline, your rates, or your other clients.
What does it cost?
Milepost is young and we're onboarding agencies hand-to-hand. Get a demo and we'll talk about what a rollout looks like for your team — no procurement maze.
